Jason Silverstien

Jason has moved on to a new job working with kids in Scranton. Since he's a pretty hard core boulderer, you'll still see him in the gym from time to time. We wish the best of luck to him in his new persuit and look forward to his next visit. Here's what he has to say...

So... here I am -------->

Lets say I have been climbing for three years and I have enjoyed every climb. Climbing fulfills many different aspects of my life. The first one, allowing me to get outside and enjoy nature not trying to conquer it but almost be a part of it. Secondly, being pressured by unneccessary stress it pushes me to Climb outside and attach my attention back to what is most important in my life. And third, it keeps me feeling good about myself mentally and physically. The success of completing a climbing route, or bouldering problem is definatly satisfying in ways that are hard to describe unless you have experienced it yourself. (HINT)
